Mary was born c.1820 in Camarthen, Wales. On 2 August 1841, she married William Hamley Kellaway. From the marriage certificate, it is known that her father was called Samuel. Her mother’s name remains unknown as Evans is a very common name in Wales.
She had at least ten children with her husband William.
On 6 November 1899, she died aged 81 years having been predeceased by William. The cause of death is given as shock resulting from an accidental fall. There was a coroner’s inquest held on 7 November 1899.
