Samuel HONEY (b.1798)

Samuel Honey was born c.1798, probably in St Keyne.  One of ten children of Thomas Honey and Elizabeth Handcock, Samuel worked as a lime burner.

On 20 July 1824, Samuel married Jenny (or Jane) Best in St Keyne, Cornwall. Together they had seven children.

By 1871, however, Samuel was a widower and living in Liskeard Workhouse. He died on 28 January 1881, aged 84.
