Thomas Holland was born on 15 September 1842 in Truro, Cornwall.
He spent his entire life in Truro, working as a shoemaker. On 19 December 1863 he married Sarah Arthur. Together they had eleven children.
He died on 2 July 1916 aged 73. The cause of death given was 1) chronic nephritis and 2) heart failure. His wife Sarah was present at his death at Chacewater, Kea.
